Mary DiBiase Blaich is a freelance photojournalist based in New York City.  Early in her career, she was a staff photographer at The New York Daily News .  After a number of years at The News, she took time off to raise her family.  When she returned to photojournalism, Mary began freelancing for The New York Times, Catholic New York, The New York Road Runners Club, The National Parks Service, The New Balance Track and Field Center and other organizations.

Volunteer:  Monsignor Farrell High School,  weekly photo club moderator, over 14 years.

Personal:   Husband, Charles R. Blaich, retired FDNY Deputy Chief;  sons:  Dr Andrew C. Blaich, PhD, Computer Engineer for Bluebox;  Lt Daniel J. Blaich, USCG, H65 Helicopter Pilot.

Education: BS Communication Arts, St John's University;  Graduate Work, Villanova University; Cardinal Spellman High School.
